For over 50 years, J.P. Phillips, Inc., has provided quality lathing and plastering services to meet the needs of major organizations like the Hilton Chicago Hotel, Evanston Hospital, The Art Institute of Chicago, Holy Family Church, the Museum of Science & Industry, and the Wisconsin State Capitol. In addition, we received “Project of the Year” honors for our work at The Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin.

What distinguishes us from other firms is that we perform intricate ornamental plastering in addition to our standard services. We can take on any job, from minor patchwork projects to entire hospital wings. No job is too big or too small. In addition, our dedicated workers are available to travel anywhere to meet the particular needs of any job.

We provide superior work in all phases of lathing, plastering, stucco and Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS) processes because each and every member of our firm is an experienced lathing and plastering professional.

We are part of an elite group of contractors that are “AWCI-EIFSmart Certified.” Fewer than 100 contractors in the USA carry this distinction. We have worked closely with Packer Engineering, Wiss Janney and HBIS on numerous EIFS restoration projects, such as Harpo Studios, Olympia Center and several private residences.
